I got my ears pierced!

Hi everybody!

Guess what? After much begging and pleading with my parents, I got my ears pierced today! Ouch!

My Mom finally said yes after I asked several times. She said I had to keep my room clean (without being asked!) for a month to prove I could handle the responsibility, and then I could get my ears pierced. They took me to the mall today to get them pierced, and I was pretty nervous, but also very excited! But, my Mom and Dad were there with me the whole time, and it didn't hurt as badly as I thought it would, so it all worked out! I feel super tough and look cute!

I even got these adorable TARDIS earrings. Aren't they awesome?!

They still hurt a little bit but I'm really happy I did it! I can't wait to collect more cute, nerdy earrings!

Do you have your ears pierced? Did it hurt to get them done?

Hello everyone!

I hope you're having a great Memorial Day Weekend! I personally am, because yesterday morning I did some yoga with my friend MeMe (pronounced May-May). MeMe does yoga a lot, and I have only done it a little bit, so I was a little nervous to get started.

"Morning, MeMe!" I said.

"Namaste!" MeMe replied.

"What does that mean?"

"" MeMe said. "Anyway, get your mat set up, Charlie!"

I took my mat out of its carrier and began to unroll it.

"Let's start with the warrior pose!" MeMe said.

I could get used to this! I thought.

"Okay!" MeMe said. "Now it's downward facing dog time!"

"Downward facing whaaaat?!" I exclaimed. "That's a silly name!"

"Now stick your chest out and do upward facing dog!" MeMe said.

There sure are a lot of dogs in yoga... I thought.

"Now the front splits pose!" directed MeMe.

"Now stretch up!" Meme exclaimed.

"MeMe!" I yelled. "This is burning my hip elastic! Yeow!"

"Okay, let's stretch a bit before we try one last pose!" MeMe said.

"What pose are we gonna do?" I asked.

"Wall-assisted handstands!" MeMe said.

Oh boy... I thought nervously.

"Let's try it! You can do it!" MeMe encouraged. "Now let's do it and say 'Ommmmmm'!"

"Ommmmmmmmmm!" we hummed in unison. This was pretty neat! We were doing it!

Finally we laid down, finished with our workout! I was so tired.

"Namaste!" MeMe sighed as we caught our breath.

"Namaste!" I replied. "Whatever that means!"

Have you ever tried yoga?

A Visit to the Crossroads Doll and Teddy Bear Show

Hello again!

A few weekends ago, I went with my Mom and Grandma A to the Crossroads Doll & Teddy Bear Show in my area. I got to meet many of my fellow Vinyl Americans and see some neat old toys!

Neat instruments!

This trunk was HUGE! My Mom told me to stand next to it so you all can see how big it was.

We got to see these awesome outfits from The Lady History Project on Etsy. They are all based on great real and fictional women of the past, and they are awesome in person! I bought one of them to be my Halloween costume this year - can you guess which one?

We saw some adorable Steiff animals! This dog was one of my favorites!

I reached out and touched his fur. It was prickly!

Have you ever been to a doll show or convention? Tell me all about it in the comments!

Interview with The Doll Mag

Hello all!

I'm pleased to announce that the delightful sister team Lulu and Bella with The Doll Mag have interviewed me for an article about doll bloggers! I answered a few questions for them and even provided some behind the scenes pics of me doing what I love - blogging! You can check out the article here: LINK.

Here are some pictures that I took of my blogging "process"! (Hint: It involves a LOT of ice cream at a local ice cream shop!)

Sometimes a sweet treat gets my brain moving!

Mint is my Dad's and my favorite ice cream flavor. Yum!

Thank you to The Doll Mag! It was an honor to be featured in your magazine!
