My Crazy-Haired Friend Olive!

Meet my friend, Olive!

She's a bit shy, loves music festivals, and has amazingly awesome hair!

She goes to my school. Some of the other kids don't like her crazy hair, but I love it! I am all about expressing your individuality in positive ways, and I can't think of anything more positive than colorful hair!

She loves flower crowns too, and brought one to our photoshoot!

How do you express your individuality?

A Valentine's Surprise

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!

I usually just hang out with my family on Valentine's and we eat lots of heart-shaped foods. This morning though, I had a wonderful surprise waiting for me at the front door!

The front doorbell woke me up, so I stumbled out of bed and walked to the front door. Who could it be? My Dad's flowers for my Mom came yesterday.

Oh my goodness! It's some Valentine's treats for me!

It's a conversation heart plush, a cupcake, and some pink roses! Wow!

I wonder who brought these for me...?

Did you get anything from your Valentine today?

Bike Riding in February?!

Greetings, readers!

I have hit a whopping 10,000 views on this blog! Thank you all so much for your loyal visits! I hope to keep you entertained with my blog for years to come.

Speaking of entertaining things, I rode my bike on my driveway the other day. This is entertaining because: A.) I'm not a very coordinated bike rider, B.) It is February and was really warm out, C.) My puppy River decided to ride along in the basket on my bike, and D.) I lost my bike helmet in our move and had to use my snowboarding helmet. Better to use a helmet for another sport than none at all! That's what my mom said anyway.

River and I rode around the driveway while Dad worked on his car in the garage. Since I'm still not a great rider, Dad said to stay on the driveway.

River and I zoomed around the driveway excitedly (or nervously? I'm not sure).

I took turns slowly so I wouldn't dump poor River out of the basket.

Look, Ma, no hands!

In honor of my 10,000 blog views, do you have any requests of adventures you'd like to see me go on? Let me know in the comments!

Portraits of Reine

Have you all met my new friend, Reine? Her family is from France, but they moved here when Reine was little; they live around the corner from my house, and Reine goes to school with me. She doesn't have an accent but she does speak fluent French, and her family owns a French bakery in town! She has been teaching me how to bake. But, more on that later. Now, I'd like to introduce you to her!

Meet Reine Martin! (She told me to tell you that her name is pronounced like "Ren Mar-tan". Very French, n'est-ce pas? Oh, she also wanted me to tell you that her name means "queen" in French. It's quite fitting for her!)

Reine has been teaching me a bit of French, too! J'adore les patisseries!

Can you or a friend speak another language?
