A Little Early Autumn Reading

Hey everybody!

This weekend, after all of my homework was done, I decided to get out one of my favorite books and do one of my favorite things - read on a rug in the corner of my living room. It was a beautiful early autumn day, with the sunlight streaming in through the windows and giving the room a soft, warm glow. A perfect day to cuddle up and read!

I dragged out my pillow and book...

...and I heard my mom say, "You're not dragging your pillow on the floor again, right, Charlie?"

"Err...right!" I said.

I tossed the pillow and the book on the rug, and flopped down to read.

I read on my back...

...and flopped onto my tummy...

...and finally relaxed, seated up against the wall.

I laid back, contemplating life, the universe, and everything when...

"River! Stop that, I'm reading!"

"Rory! Come on! You guys are silly!"

My dogs River and Rory jumped on me and played, River trying to get me to play toy with her.

I giggled and snuggled them. Sometimes my dogs can annoy me, but I love them all the same!
